When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile information. This is necessary to manage your boards, handle billing through our payment provider, and provide customer support.
Board Content
We store the content you and your guests add to celebration boards, including messages, names, and GIFs. For GIF search and selection, we integrate with Tenor.

We use a few trusted third-party services to help us operate Wishaboo safely and efficiently:

Polar: Our payment processing partner. They handle all financial transactions securely. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

PostHog: Used for product analytics. This helps us understand how the app is being used so we can improve features and fix bugs. All data is handled in compliance with modern privacy standards.

Tenor: Provides the GIF search functionality. When you search for a GIF, your search query is processed by Tenor's API.

We store your celebration boards and wishes indefinitely so that memories can be revisited years later.
How to Delete Your Data
Currently, account and data deletion are handled manually upon request. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us at [email protected]. Upon verification, Wishaboo will perform a cascading deletion, permanently erasing your account details, all boards you've created, and all associated wishes from our active systems.
Notice: Deleting an account does not guarantee eligibility for promotional offers, free credits, or signup incentives in the future. Wishaboo reserves the right to limit or deny such benefits to prevent abuse.
5. Security
The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like local storage) to keep you logged in and to analyze our traffic via PostHog.
